IM lost, I cant make up my mind on wheels

I currently have Centerline Telstars on the back of my car and summit knockoffs in the front and i really would like matching wheels.

For some reason i dont recall spending the Coin to get there Telstars. But i know i dont want to do it again to get them to match the fronts.

And i dont want to waste the money matching the rears to the fronts because i dont really like the way they look.

I was going to buy rallye wheels but cant commit.

I found some nice 19x8.5 wheels on Tire Rack on closeout that im thinking of. I was going to use the 19s in the front and the 20x11 for the rear. but since i will have to mini tub it and the cost of tires to fit the rears im thinking 19x8,5 on all 4 corners..

Ive gone over the specs and measured everything and i will need a 2" spacer in the front and a 1"spacer in the rear and they will fit with the right size tires. The beauty of is that they will only cost 250 shipped.

They look like the new Corvette Grand Sport Wheels.

Any thoughts?
Sport Muscle GS Wheels on Tire rack

Im also in the search for a GTO IRS pullout for my car.

just my opinion.....19's are too big...maybe some 16's or 17's.....im not a fan of big wheels on 3rd gens:no: again just my opinion

I have to agree with batman on that one... Stick with something in the 15-17" range and it will look better - and you won't have to spend money and time on mods...
Oh yeah, I "third" what Batman is saying. 15 - 17 would look much much better!
i think 17's with the car lowered properly will give you the look you're after... i agree i'd skip anything bigger than 17's. i think i'd also skip the 15's and 16's and go straight ahead with the 17's...
I'm going to also agree that 17's is probably the size you want to go with.....if for no other reason than most tires below or above 17" are going to cost more.

Well i do like the look of larger wheels as well as 15s. But the main reason for the 19s is the price. I was actually looking at 19x8.5 for the fronts and 19x10 for the rears.

They are on Closeout for 59ea. at Tirerack.com. and the fronts are meant for the front of an 06 vette and the rears are meant for the front of an 2010 Grand Sport. and people on the corvette forums all speak highly of the wheels.

all the tires are 150 to 190 ea

I still think I may have spent too much time on wheels, BUT to be honest I am VERY happy with what I ended up with. MOSTLY thanks to a program on jegs, here. Lets you try out wheels on your car, modify color, ride height, and window tint (if you have it). I spent MANY days toying around with that program just trying to find the look I liked, then I found the rims I liked at discounttiredirect.com. I went with the Old School MB wheels 17".

I believe these are the wheels he is looking at buying.

yeah those are them, those are the painted ones i was thinking of the all silver
Love that wheel chart link.. anymore like that?!?
IMO ride height is more important than rim size. You can run 17's or 19's...doesn't matter if the stance is too high. And please...the Donk look may be the worst thing that has ever happened in Automobile history!!!!

Richard the wheels are on sale for a reason and usually the reason is no one is buying them and the business wants them out of inventory. Investigate a little to find some reviews online. A Google search should turn up lots of info.
Did you get the 9" installed yet?
Hey Mike (Tuckin20s), the consensus here seems to be you should scrap those 20s. Your car is a Donkey. Not.

I know, different Gen. Bad comparisons. You jack anything and put 20s plus on it and it's a Donk. However, you can make it work if you do it right. And I'm a old schooler to the bone.

those are 24" rims:yes: 19" wheels or even 20" rims will look just fine with the right size tire and the right ride height:yes:
