I'm almost ready for my 67

My name is Curt. I live in Galloway Ohio. I am moving soon to Hilliard Ohio where I have more land and can add a nice Garage for a 67 Nova SS project. I bought a 67 2 years ago that was completely gone. After 4 back surgeries, I realized I can't physically handle a complete frame off restoration, so I need to compromise and get one almost done, that i can perfect. I have an old Chevrolet ad showing a butternut yellow SS in front of an old california style home. I love the SS hubcaps, the whitewalls, and the black vinyl top. Maybe I can copy that all stock except the motor and drive train and suspension updated. If anyone knows of a nice car in the 15 to 20 k range that is all original but maybe not perfect, please let me know. This is a great site! Thank you Steve.

One more thing. Has anyone ever made a convertible from a 2nd gen that was done perfectly? Wondering what kind of top you used and how you did it.

Welcome and good luck. Yes they have made the 66-67 into a convertible by using the 1st gen(floorpan) Nova convertibles I believe.
