I now have my outer wheel houses removed and the inside of my rockers are very solid but I would like to clean them somehow before coating with POR15.
I put a wire brush on a long mop handle and that worked OK but did not get the job complete for me. I then took the shop vac and vacuumed out the dust and dirt. Any ideas?

I went through the same thing not long ago, LT1. Mine were so full of stuff...leaves, dirt, gravel, among other things. A waterhose with a good nozzle + a shop-vac + the blower on my air hose + a 12-pack of Lite X a couple of hours = CLEAN

Ya might want to take a long steel rod, thread it and attach a small wire brush to it. Then grind the other ends so that they fit in a drill chuck and have at it!

Thanks for the info. guys. The water hose idea is good but it would be a mess in my shop. I can't move the car at this time. I have the quarters and tail panel removed. I may clean the rockers after I install the quarters and can move the car outside.
