Hi all,
I don't know if this is the place for this so if it needs to be moved feal free mods. I found a set of camel hump heads for 200.00. Are they worth that? He claims they came of a 300 horse motor, how do you tell? What do I need to look for?

I had a set before, they should be 186's with 64cc closed chamber and 1.94/1.50 valves, they were used on 295hp 350's in SS cars. and are worth it.

I'm not up on the numbers. Is 186 a casting# and if so where would I find said number? How much more do you think they are worth? I was thinking selling them, but if the're only worth a 2-300 then I won't bother.

Thats the majic number, the heads are the same as the 2.02's but have the smaller valves, they are worth $100 a pop, i got both of mine for $100 years ago, but they are old and low performance now.
