1962 lower control arm bolt. I have the nut off but she no budge:no:
Is this bolt pressed in, or is it because it has been in there for 47 years
Maybe I have to get out the BFG:devil:

Air hammer would be the best bet:devil:. Its not pressed in thats for sure.

Did you take off the eccentric washer? Is the strut rod or sway bar connected? All these items should be removed before removing the LCA.

I would not recommend using an air hammer, but a brass hammer would be an option if you needed to knock it out.

A hammer with the nut on the very end of the bolt, so you don't damage the treads.

You are replacing the bolts? I would assume anything attached to the LCA is removed already before any action is taken to remove bolt.

Just take a big hammer and some muscle and it will come out :yes:

I always use a heavy brass hammer like NOGO mentioned. I never had one yet I couldn't get out.
