How the heck do I compress the front coil springs for a '62 Nova front end? Looking for someone who knows what I'm talking about with this stock front-end and the problem I'm encountering....it's unlike later front-ends.... Thanks!!!

You won't have to compress the spring as much if you remove the shield from the inner fender area that covers most of the spring.

First remove the shock towers, then the shocks then use an internal coil compressor.
When I use an internal spring compressor, the screw shaft of the spring compressor bottoms out at the end of the coil spring.

you need to turn the spring compressor around and have the nut that you
turn on the bottom. Then the bolt can go through the hole where the shock
was if needed.

As the Flyer gave me advice on this, use a 4" pipe as a spacer between the washers and the puller. It worked for me.
Awsome fix SuperSport!!!!! Thank you......
