Homemade Custom Headliner 63 Wagon

Has anyone made their own headliner for their 62-67 wagon, not using the original material or headliner bows etc. Im thinking of a way to make my own by either retro-fitting something out of a late model vehicle etc. or using the newer type material and then covering with fabric etc. Has anyone done this with success? Let me know folks!

Mines not a wagon but a 63 coupe, A company I took mine to used grey cloth. It looks really nice. I can take pictures later tonight when I get home.

When I bought my 65 yellow car someone had taken rods & gone front to back over the old headliner it look good

I'm looking at doing something like this in my 63 wagon I have insulation in already but I want to use something other than stock over the insulation but haven't found it yet
