I'd definately look at the float level. Don't know if you have externally adjustable center or side hung floats First try tapping on the carb around the needle and seat area. If that doesn't work rev the engine and take a rag and cover the carb tightley a couple times, this may suck something small through the needle and seat. If that doesn't work check the float real good. I have seen brass floats with pinholes fill up with gas and sink. I have also seen the plastic floats become waterlogged??? with gas and sink. Just a couple things to look for.

Todays fuel has alcohol in it,that is why I put brass floats in to fix my carb. But do check by tapping on the needle and seat area.
I agree, the ethanol in the gas almost ruined the Holley I had on my '68 Cj-5. One needs to use the marine grade Sta-bil in their gas for these older cars. It gets rid of the ethanol and it's cheap insurance.

Korey, Before you go diving into that carb, my question to you would be- have you recently filled up your tank and the weather/temps gotten much warmer ?
This is a problem if you have winter grad fuel being pawned off by fuel distributors now that winter is over and fuel companies try to deleate excess old fuel reserves. Winter fuel has a very high rsvp level and will 'boil' very easy if it see warm weather - this can happen- if you shut of your car and / or run your car in hot weather. The fuel expands/boils very easy and will run over the metering system as the fuel expands in the bowl. Much like a summer shut down / hot soak hard restart issue it is worse because of the explanation given.
Good luck.....
