really disgusted here. put the new performer intake on, dry, head ports are "higher" than the manifold. bought this thing not knowing anything about the engine, looking back, hindsight is 20/20, wondered why the intake had big washers on the bolts.how it worked, i don`t know, however, the original air-gap bolt holes were longated. ok, sold the intake. now, trying to find an intake for these "higher" ports, and bolts to a regular small block. so frustrated here,,,,,, i read that the ports are the same as vortec heads? i don`t know. all i found for an intake was like WOT stuff. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, are there any intakes for these "higher" ports, which bolt on ? i mean, yes, found a couple, but all for like WOT, i just want to drive it. i really appreciate the info/help!!

resting my performer on dry, you can see about 1/16th of the ports. Pro TopLine has there own manifold. but wow, like a racing manifold. long story short, good friend of mine has 1 flo-tek, angle plug, complete head. he ordered straight plug heads, this was packaged wrong, they told him to keep it and sent a new one. he`s giving it to me,,, so,,, i just ordered another. i need the angle plug since this thing has big header tubes. thanx you guys!

123 20002 oa 1926 1002 stamped on the front face. valve cover off, ProLine,,, 5 embossed. gotta go to work, i`ll look these up later,,,, thanx.

thanx again! yea, seems like driveabilty with that intake and heads,,,,,, i don`t know. anyway, new heads, carb and manifold.
