Hey guys I have a small problem in my 68 Hopefully someone has a dash out and can help me. I need to know the length of the 2 rods that bolt into the into the firewall and hold up the column. mine were gumbo welded in and the steering wheel seems very high in conjuction with the dash. I will get some pics up one camera is charged.

I'm disassembling a '68 now but I'm confused as to which rods you are talking about. There are 2 at the dash and the bracket that holds the pedals has 4 at the firewall. Do you have a picture yet?

Dooh, I think I see what you're asking about. One rod is about 9" and the other is about 6" long. I hope to have it out this afternoon and I'll measure better.

yes very much ...thanks I thought I was going crazy. now to top it off mine arent bolted they are welded in..
