This may be in the wrong section I am at the point on the restoration of putting the glass back in I went through every piece I have and did not find enough to make 1 really good set just driver quality stuff even with the glass polishing. Now here is my question I see in the classic catalogue the sell new glass I have seen this at various show's as well I have also been told you can get it dated does anyone know if this is true about the dating and how close it is to original and the stuff classic sells how close does it look to original. thanks

I had it done to my windows its called acid etching. It looks like the original to me you just give them the numbers. It was 50 per window. I got mine done at Auto City Glass in MN. I did notice the back window I got it looked like there was a water glare in the lamination when the light hit it right.

Just to be sure is this the same as what classic sell's or different and you just hade the date etched or the whole logo softray and all. I have never heard of Nags are they a holesaler that any glass shop can get. thanks

It came with the whole softray logo just like the original. I will dig up some pictures.

My friend checked with the glass shop he said he called nags and only the winsheild is still available. thanks anyway

They carry it all for $700. I wish they had it in clear glass though. I ended up going with laminated side glass but it was a pain to get someone to cut it right.

I got mine though Auto City and had it date coded. I took pics of the old glass and emailed to them. They reproduced the glass with the exact etching of my origianals. Really happy with the results!

NNN is dealer for auto city glass for oem green tint and smoke aftermarket shade. They do a great job. NNN can also get clear glass form another manfactuer but they don't date code them and have to be sent to of done by another mfg/ specialist. They are working on making do it yourself kits but liablity and caustic acids are involved, not to mention copyrights of lof, ppg and other oem suppliers copyrights!

Try Pilkington Classics.They provided all my 66 2dr hrdt glass with correct LOF (Libbey Owens Ford) logo,date codes and app. codes.1 800 848 1357.Nice guys also.
