Hi guys,


is the front track width (disc to disc ) of the heidt's front clip the same as a stock nova front clip with drums, if it isn't , What is the measured difference ?


another question if you guys know it because i forgot..

if you were to install 70 chevelle discs on stock '64-'66 nova spindle, i remember that it greatly increased the front track width but i don't remember by how much...anyone remember

I can measure mine tonight. Heidt's offers 5/8" shorter uper and lower control arms. I went with the shorter arms.

It also dependes on the rotors you chose to run.

What does the shorter arms accomplish?

The 5/8" narrower a-arms bring your tires in closer together. It will help you have better tire clearance to the fenders. TCI kits come standard with narrow arms and a narrowed subframe for better clearance on the inside too.
