My friends I need help. My heater core went and I need to replace it. I have the new one, I took out the glove box but now dumbfounded. Does anyone have any instruction sheets or photos on how to replace. Believe it or not I rebuilt this car on photos and instruction sheets. Thanks

Thanks for the assistance, Knowledge is a great thing when shared.

unhook all the vent pulls and the vent in the middle by the trans tunnel... then from in the engine bay take off the three nuts that hold the heater to the fire wall (right below the body tag)..... then the whole heater assembly will come out from under the dash....

take off the screws in the center and the heater will come apart in the middle, exposing the core....

There is one other screw at the upper right of the box that holds the box to the air duct assembly... You will need to remove that also.
Upon re-installation., make sure the two "points" on the front of the box go into the slots on the inside of the firewall...
