I did the headliner in my 66. There are also three holes on each side of the roof for each bow to fit into.
I do remember the one bow that has less of a curve on the ends is the middle one. It mounts into the roof rib that holds the dome light. Bend the triangle metal tabs to hold that rib in place. I would say before putting the cloth onto the ribs. I would mount the ribs to see their shape and how they fit. This will be a trial and error fit. Then pick the order that follows the roof. While the ribs are out sand them and paint the with a good rust proof type paint.

My bodyman pulled out my headliner bows and did not label which one goes where. I noticed in a catalog that there is an order in which these things go in and look like they are different. Anybody know which order these bows go in? :
