headlight buckets

I am trying to put the buckets on my 73 . Not sure what to do . Do the springs go on the bottom of the core support then into the bottom of bucket . if so my holes don't seem to line up very good I do have an aftermarket core support also are the springs all the same or is their left and right spings any info will help thanks

Ahh, the dreaded aftermarket core support dilemma...

We've all gone thru that process and we are here to help you. You will need to make your own holes for the headlamp buckets going into the core support unit. Apparently that's one detail they left off that matters the most for everyone restoring these cars.

I can't get to my photos at the moment but, I'm sure that someone will chime in with some pictures of a "stock" core support and the hole locations.
