I have a 66 hard top that I installed the complete Church Boys front end kit in, including Iditiot steering column and steering shaft. I just dropped in a small block 350 and now my Hooker Super Comp headers do not fit because the steering shaft is in the way. I was told the kit would work with this headers. Anybody else run into this or what headers do fit. Also, I am running a muncie 4 speed.

Are you using the CBR cross member?
Are those Super Comp 2243's?

Yes on the CBR cross member. This is the complete CBR kit. Headers are Super comps 2122. The headers fit great otherwise. I have found these headers to fit the best for 4 speed cars.

You will have a straight shot with the 2243's. With the 2242's you are going to need to add another swivel joint and a brace off the old steering location.....contact Chuck, he has the kit you need to make it work....

Ok, thanks. I will shoot chuck an email. Those headers fit so good, and were $700. Hate to not use them...Will the 2243 work with a 4 speed? according to the summit website they won't work...

No, I think the #8 tube interferes with the Z-bar.....
