I think this is a pretty fun thing to do. It is kinda like pass time but on the internet. I know this is a nova site and i am nova a guy at heart but curently all i have is a 68 camaro.

This is the first time this car hits the track
Well here it is... I have a full interior full body/glass car. 383 stroker 9.7 to 1 comp. It has the edelbrock rpm package installed on it. Which includes rpm heads and rpm air gap intake. It does have their cam installed also....

Duration @ .050'' 234° Intake/244° Exhaust
Lift @ Valve .488'' Intake/.510'' Exhaust
Lobe Separation Angle 112°
Intake Centerline 107°

Carb is a holley 750 double pumper.
Trans is a th400 with jw 10 in sportsman stall flash is 3000 to 3200
12 bolt with 373
multileaf w/slide-a-links

tires 255/60/15 MT drag radials.

Shifting will probably occur between 6200 and 6400

If u got any other questions just ask.

I will be hitting the track in a few weeks and first track will be 1/8 mile. So lets guess these times first.

I will post time when i get them. probalby be toward the end of april.

Thanks,
Shaun

Ok, I'll bite. I'm going to say 8.10 @ 87mph if you hook up. That engine package is just screaming "BLUE BOTTLE" to me though:devil:

I hope i can get her to hook. I might have to play with the slide-a-links a little but i believe she will hook. I have lightened up the front a little by relocating the battery to the rear so i hope this helps also.

I got the fingers cross!! I would like to see the car break 7's but I am not going to hold my breath. I do think she will run 8 o's to 8 teens.

You do realize reaction time has no bearing on E.T. don't you?
yeah i have a big imagination  just playing trying to see how close i am at reading someone. i know its actually about you 60 ft time ive come to relize this cause if i can get my car to do a 1.6 or lower ( curently 1.73 ) foot time i will be in the 11.9s . i was also thinking of getting a 4000 stall converter and 4.11s if i can get the car to leave at 3700 with a 1.60 60 ft and shift at 6200 in each gear and trap at 6000 i will run 11.50s all day

If you can 60 ft at 1.65, it will do 7.80 in the 1/8th. Your setup is very similar to mine, the main difference is probably weight. I also have slapper bars instead of slide-a-links. Still have some suspension tuning to do, but will do a 1.65 if I launch it just right.

I hope she breaks 7's! I can not wait to get this thing out on the track!
