That would be Dr. Cherry Picker to most of us cheapskates.......As you can see there's not even an embilical cord attached....Now thats a clean birth I tell ya....Next will be upcoming photos of the project...

Back in Feb of 05 my wife and I went to the Turlock Ca swapmeet...I really wasn't looking for a car ...But when I saw the nova it looked pretty straight, Clean...The guy said it was a 66, but when I saw the front end I told him it was a 67....Come to find out it just had the 67 front end...Being a 4 dr the price was right...Last year my foremam and I were discussing engine's and he said he had a 327 out of a 68 Camaro he would sell me for a hundred bucks.....I said what the heck...So I bought it....The first thing I did was check the timing chain...Then I took out the plugs and started to find tdc...Guess what....The crank wouldn't crank...So I took it all apart only to find it had blown a head gasket...I knew this because when I got it to finally crank...Rust came out of the plug hole.............Sh.....t..............Now I have to rebuild the thing...And I've never done it before.....So here's where were at right now..

The motor cleaned up really nice!

Looks good man. I wouldnt do anything but put some body color steel wheels on and drive the heck out of it. Make sure you save that power steering stuff, recoup some of your spent cash on ebay.
