Will the tank from my 66 hardtop fit in place of my 65 longroof? I think the sending unit will need to be changed because in 66 they went from a 30 ohm fuel sending unit to a 90 ohm unit.

wagons have wagon unique tanks not the same as all other 1st&2nd gen:no:

I could be half wrong, its 62-63 , 3 seater wagons the tank is unique, I have looked at the wagons tank of mine and my coupes and it sure looks the same, just mounted different,let us know if you find out,ive been wrong B-4:yes:

X2 your tank from the 66 should fit the 65 LR - I've used a 63 tank in a 67 - fit like factory.
