My car was missing the plastic off of the gas pedal. The metal spoon was still there. I bought a plastic pedal from Lutty's. How does it attach to the metal spoon?

There should be two ball studs coming out of floor board that the pedal hocks to the pedal then just rest on the spoon.

As Smitty64 said, it just rest on the metal arm. No direct connection to the throttle arm.
