I recently replaced my stock gauges with Autometer gauges. The install was easy. The one problem I'm having is that the gas gauge reads 1/4 full when I completely fill the gas tank.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Scott

What you probably have is a stock 0-30 ohm sending unit in the tank and a 0-90 gauge. I think that 64 was the last year to use the 0-30 sending unit so you may need to change it out with a later model. Can you return the dash gauge for a 0-30 gauge?

That's what my stock gauge did when the sending unit went bad. Replaced the sending unit and all is well.
