I would recommend using some type of rubber mount on the fuel pump or the noise will carry all the way through the frame and drive you nuts. Most systems should have a return line as well to prevent dead heading the pump. I didn't notice if you had one or not. What size line did you use from the cell to the pump?

No Teflon tape? That scares me. Even rubber hoses I double clamp just to be sure. Probably a bit overboard, but last thing I want is leaks in a fuel line. :|
