Where should i mount my fuel pump on my 71 nova? I heard it was better in the back revses the front? where has everyone else mounted theres?

are you using a stock tank if so you may want to look at getting it sumpped something like this prt# 550-40757 at www.jegs.com but yeah you want to find a location to the rear most part of the tank away from a heat sorce

Electric pumps push better than they pull. You will definitely want a sump in the tank although I do know a guy that runs a stock type 1/2in pickup on a Plymouth with Holley red pump, 1050 dominator on a 360 and never loses any fuel pressure.

Mines of of the stock outlet with no sump been that way for 14 years, its mounted to the frame between the quarter and frame near the leafs, im using the original exhaust bracket holes with the pump bracket and a filter on the carb.

Sump the tank or go fuel cell and make sure that if you use an electric pump you mount it in the rear. Most of them are pushers not pullers as stated above.
