Fuel line size

I am upgrading the motor in my 71 Nova to a 580ish HP SB 427. The builder has a mechanical 6 vane high volume fuel pump with -8an line going to carb that i am probably going to get with the motor. I have the stock tank with -6 fuel lines going to the carb now, would that be enough to support this engine? Not planning on racing the car.

That should be plenty. I believe you can use 3/8 (-6) up to around 700 hp

Just be sure to use a good regulator set at whatever carb you're running max bowl inlet.

Fuel tank vent should be minimum 3/8" I.D. Stock fuel tank vent is 1/4" I.D.

I wouldn’t worry about it.
I have a 421 in my 66 that is just a touch over 600hp at the crank. I run a 3/8 line from the sender to the carb. Holley blue electric pump. I’ve had no issues. I’ve made a few dyno pulls that were probably 15 seconds long or better with no fuel starvation issues. And a bunch of mid 10 second passes at the strip.
