I just want to share my most recent experience with fuel issues in case it helps someone else. Put new motor in, dies when running hard on top end... I bought new gauge and line to see fuel pressure instead of the cheap liquid filled ones under the hood that don't work. I was then able to watch my pressure drop as it revved and when I drove it to zero at some points. I tore the Holley blue pump apart, cleaned it, then it sprung a leak. After going and buying a new HP 150 Holley pump, put it on along with new regulator and still same problem. Just prior to going and buying all new fuel lines again and made sure I had a good vent, I decided to remove the inline filter which looked clean. Fired it up and runs awesome with no pressure drop. Soooo... About $310.00 in wasted money later, it's fixed. Gotta love it
