Flat bottom design. I just run the braided line through the floor down to the filter.

Fuel cells are NOT street friendly. Prolly why you didnt get too many replies.

They are problems and honestly just a pain in the azz. Specially when you have so many other options. I wouldn't install one today.

But I didn't know any better and DID mount one up. Its a 20 gallon (yes, a big one). I did NOT want to have to lift the trunk lid every time I needed to fuel up. Just didn't want to have to go through ALL the steps of opening the trunk, pulling the bail and making sure to NOT spill fuel in my trunk.

I wanted the large tank but still wanted to fill it up like I do with all my other cars. From the outside, hang the nozzle and wait for it to auto stop when it was full. Thats NOT a fuel cell operation. Unless you do a lil work to make it happen.

I made a new filler system. Ditch the bail cap, make a flange and filler tube and Frankenstein it to a quarter panel filler hole from a Honda I scrounged. JR

Honda filler section..

Routed to the 20 gallon cell

Oh, I should add. The reason I had to go with the cell to begin with is because of the rear suspension I have. Id rather have a standard tank but there is NO space for one. No space to breath under my car :)

To do it over again I would have gotten one of those stainless steel sumped gas tanks. But this is what I did.
