Well I wasnt going to do this but I decided since my front clip is off, why not? Its right there and I can have peace of mind down the road and not have to worry about it later. Did anyone buy the Front end rebuilt kit from Classic Industries for 71-74 year model? Says its $178.65 for the kit. Good kit? Thought it was a good price.

Myself, I prefer polygraphite. It offers similar handling characteristics to polyurethane, but it not quite as hard. It is harder than the original style rubber bushing, and much quieter!!

They do cost a bit more than what you found, but you will be happier with the handling of the car with harder bushings. Since you are freshing up the front end, you may as well do it all with the super kit, and be done with it.

I went with an Energy Suspension kit and was very happy with it. I can tell that it was definitely a big job and took a lot of time to complete. But, after I completed it - it seemed like the restoration just rolled along after that. Of course, I already had the body work and paint done before I did the suspension upgrades.
