I'm ready to get the front end aligned. What alignment specs should I use? It will mostly be a strip car? I have the CPP lower A-arm kit installed, and I'm going to change all the tie rods and idler arm. Should I get the idler with the bearing? And does MOOG still make parts for the 1st Gens? Dave

Dave,

I set mine (Drag car) up with zero camber, 1/16 toe in and +3 deg. caster.

You still have the stock steering so you may want a little more toe in and unless you shim your upper arms you will be lucky to get +2 degrees caster. On the track you are going to want all the + caster your wheel well can afford.

Thanks Chuck. I'll let you know what it sets up at. I'm fighting a fuel pressure problem and oil leak. I think I may have it figured out. Dave

I was told in a drag application to have you sit in the car and raise the front end up 2" to simulate the car doing down the strip. Good idea?

:yes: The height you raise it would depend on the amount of suspension travel.
