Really nice job with removing the extra doors. I agree the wheels have to go. :yes:

When I read your post I already knew which nova you were talking about. He's lives close to me but I've never seen this car in person.

For all the hassle of making one, this looks like a series of good choices. I'd put a bondo gauge on it just to see, but I wonder how much metal work there is and how much putty there is. If it isn't rusty and structurally sound, you'd have the nicest one in the state and a fun car right now. I'd raise the ride height to stock, and have some fun. Can't start from 0, get a good donor 4-door wagon, and make a 2-door this nice for $36K.

Ditto, nix wheels.

It’s pretty well executed... but it’s still thousands more than the ‘62 that Bruce built which is a far nicer car IMO, plus has LS power, Churchboys everything and AC.
