I am sure someone else has this issue. I installed a set of Global West frame connectors early on in resto, now that I am putting the E-brake back in I see that the frame connector is in the way of brake cable moving freely without rubbing on the frame connector.. What are some solutions that have been done to fix this.

How 'bout a piece of small i.d. vaccum line or whatever cut lengthways. You could silicone it right on the cable. Or a 1"-1 1/2" x3/8 or 1/2" rubber disc with a slit from the center to the outside so the cable would sit in the middle of the disc? Best I can do without my secound cup of coffee.

I don't see a issue with the cable touching the frame connectors.
