Well i had a pretty bad tap so i checked and rechecked my rockers and they were always good but still had a tap so i bought new lifters and they werent the problem it was 6 new push rods that were stoped up with mill scale so oil was not getting up to the rockers , so cleaned them out and re-set it all and no more tap ,that is the firt time i see new push rods stoped up
