Hi, I'm ordering the hurst quarter stick shifter today and noticed that there are two choices. Forward or reverse valve body. What does this mean and how do I know which one to buy?
Thanks.
Which valve body do you have, forward or reverse? (I'm assuming you don't have a manual valve body, because that you HAVE TO shift...it's not automatic, and you would then know if you had a forward or reverse valve body).....This is how you would know which valve body you have. In your car, is first all the way down and drive is right under neutral? If so, then you have a forward pattern. If 3rd is all the way down and first is right under neutral, you have a reverse. Hope this helps.
Thanx! The info helped out a lot! I ordered the forward valve body shifter, I will probably need you're guys' help with the install though
