my rear end has a slow drip only around one of the bottom bolts. what should i do?

fix it :devil: ................... just kidding you could try some permatix " right stuff " around the bolt leak for now then when you get the time ..............well you know what to do then

At the axel tube? Pull the axel and see if the bearing is OK and if it has an o ring on the outer race, if it is OK.

oh yeah where is it leaking from anyways ? is it the axle or the third member :yes: ......... if its the axle see " real mccoys post " if its the third member see " chevyIIheavy " post

its the bottom bolt on the third member

do you have the copper washer before the nut ? i had the same issue ,and new copper washers fixed the problem ! along with some silicone sealer .

That is not a bolt but a stud. Like Jason said, try a copper washer like it was made with in Detroit or wash it real good with brake cleaner and blow it dry then pack it with silicone.
