Ok here is my setup: I have a Currie 9" built to stock width and leaf springs. I also have Caltrac Split Mono's with Caltrac Bars. This is in my 67 Chevy II.

A friend had a stock disc brake setup from an older Lincoln that he ran on his 77ish Nova. We tried to put that setup on my car but the Calipers seem to be up against my leaf spring.

My question is: Has anyone bolted on a successful kit onto a setup like mine and if so which kit is it??? Thanks in advance.

ford explorer brakes. i think currie (or one of the rear end guys) sells a kit with all new parts, or should be a super cheap junkyard trip (wire wheel and paint if it makes you feel better)...

Yes. It came with all of the popper brackets, spacers, etc.

I should mention my 9" is the old large bearing style ( not the newer large bearing style.

I would stay away from the GM calipers like the ones in Jegs kit if ya want a working E-brake, they never worked right on mine. If your on a budget do like turbo said. The link below from QP isn’t bad if ya want new.

I just finished the brakes up that came with a QP 9". I was very impressed with the ease of install. Now just have to get the fluid in and bleed... They said they're 87 and up GM metric.

I used this bracket kit and used 94 Cobra calipers and rotors. Mounts nicely and easy e-brake set-up. The Lincoln brakes are garbage. There are much better options available now.
