I ran across a set of left and right side full pans and noticed a couple differences in where the seatbelt mounting point are. On my current pans, there is an angled area near the tranny tunnel behind the seat bolt and on the new pans, its not nearly as wide. Also, on the current pans towards the rocker, the flat portion extends beck where there is another mounting point and this area is not in the new pans at all. I looked online and that's the way all of these pans appear to be and I was wondering before I cut it if there's another good place to mount them or if I should cut around those areas in the car and reuse them.

jmo but i would use as much of original floor as i could just for that purpose of keeping mounts in original places.

Thanks. That was my original plan but unfortunately there is rust not only in the pans but also at the seat brace and I think it would be harder to patch all three places now.
