Does anyone know how and where the fuel vent is on a 1963 6 cylinder Nova? The chrome cap is not a vented cap and the original isn't vented either and there is only one line coming out of the sending unit. I mean, if gas comes out of the tank, air has to go in right?

The filler neck is vented...right at the top close to the qtr panel

I think there was a small hose that led from a small nipple on the top of the filler line that was actually stuck in a hole in the frame rail. They usually are not there after all these years and have long ago fallen off.

Found it! It has a little bit of hose on it and it had been cut with side cutter...blocking the vent.
