I'm eliminating the side trim on my 64 Nova 4 door. How to fill in the trim holes in body? I don't want to weld. Car will be a daily driver, not an expensive trailer queen. Eastwood has a non welding epoxy, but out of stock till early June. What about using a metal filler? Devcon makes a metal filler that might work. Any thoughts?

My body guy welded mine up but regardless of how it was done I HIGHLY regret having the trim holes eliminated.
Just personal preference really. Mine's a 300 and the trim was not only factory, but it helps break up the sea of white paint. It looks OK but I think it'd look better with the trim.
