Hi All- Intro to the forum.
We have a deal with each of our kids that when they turn 14 they get $500 to buy a car, with 3 rules:
1. Has to be built before 1985
2. Cannot be running
3. We have veto power if their decision is impractical
When our oldest turned 14 he scoured craigslist and found a '76 Concours. We didn't have anywhere to work on it at the time but he really liked it so we brought it home and stored it in our barn for a couple years. We finally got our garage built and are tearing it down now.
We have all the original GM/Fisher service manuals, but have had to turn to the internet for some better or clearer information and Steve's has come up repeatedly in our search results. Happy to find a place where we can find and share info, especially on a 4th gen, seems there is pretty limited info as well as parts availability out there.
