Can someone post pics of a exhaust system with the 4 link kit installed?
I am finishing up my 62 Nova. Right now I am planning out my exhaust system. The car is a 1962 with a Heidts super ride front clip and a TCI 4 link rear end kit.
I would like a X-pipe and SS turbo mufflers and pipes kicked out behind the rear tires. I do not know if this is even possible with all the junk in the way.
The 4 link cross member is totally in the way. It may get a nice notching to aid in clearing the pipes.
Also, The motor is a S/B with Hooker Super comp fender well exit headers.
I am thinking I will loose alot of ground clearance trying to bring the exhaust from the collector back inside the rear 4 link connectors.

Pictures please!!!!!!!
Thanks for yalls help.

I don't have pics of mine but I mounted the front cross member of the 4 link then cut the center section out up to the 4 link attachment points. I then used 1" X 2" tubing up against the floor and another tube further down . They go to a new driveshaft loop and continue over to the othe 4 link attachment point. Now I have an area that the exhaust can go through. I think there may even be room for mufflers to go through but I haven't got that far yet. My car is lowered and I wanted the exhaust to get past to the rear.

I have an art morrison 4 link and rear clip and the cross member is 2x4 steel frame. So I hole sawed out a hole in it, two holes actually, and welded in some 1/8" wall pipe with a 3.25" ID. So I can route the exhaust through the cross member. Havent run the exhaust through yet, its still a mid body dump. But the holes are large enough for my 3" exhaust to come through. I may sleeve it with some silicon sheet also for sound purposes, I dont want metal to metal contact. JR
