I have a 74 with 350 SBC. I am removing the exhaust manifold to install headers and the Drivers Side first bolt closest to the grille, I cant seem to get off because of the Power Steering pump bracket. Cant get the socket seated on the bolt head. How have you done this??? Thanks

When working on engines, sometimes you have to remove other parts to gain access to the parts you are removing. Have you tried removing the bracket bolts to get the bracket temporarily out of the way?

Thanks Paul. I realized there was a small folded over tab in the way. I Didn't notice it because the rest of them where rusted so I didn't know to look for it. And you are right I didn't realize the amount of things that had to come off in order to install headers. Now the fun begins, trying to install them....WOOHOO!
