Is anyone useing an evac system with Mufflers? All of the kits I found say they are not for use with mufflers. But I need to cap up my race car. It is way to loud.:shhh: Will the Evac system still work if I use a straight thru muffler?

I run my 496 (street) with a Mr. Gasket Pan Evac and x pipe into flowmaster 40s. I had a little trouble at the start with 1 valve sticking closed occasionally but just replaced it and all was good. Very important to position the valve properly inside the headder. There are some threads and debate here on SNS. Use the search bar and I'm sure you will find more detailed info.

i had good luch with that pan evac when i was useing dyno max bullet mufflers but not when i was running flowmaster collector mufflers
