I am finally getting all my ducks in a row to get the LS swap on my 65 4dr moving. Its great that CBR and a few other companies are making swap parts for our novas. The only big thing(and it's not too big) that I know I need to fabricate will be the transmission crossmember.

I plan on using CBR mid length headers with their engine plates. If I was using a 4l60, i would happily buy the CRB crossmember. Unfortunately, I know I will need to fabricate a transmission crossmember as I will be using a 4l80e. I was wondering how much drop the CBR crossmember uses but realistically, I am just trying to figure out what the final angle would be so I can just work backwards. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It's my understanding a 4L80 will require tunnel mods.

That’s what I’ve heard, but it doesn’t sound like they will be too extreme. I know it usually hits where the cooling lines come out of the trans. I’m using low profile banjo fittings to give me more room. And I’m pretty sure I’ll never break a 4L80e.
