I finally decided to pull out the edelbrock 1407 carb I have been planning on installing and add the electric choke kit. Got done installing it and tried the air cleaner on it. The electric choke housing hits my dropped base air cleaner and will not fit. I need to have a dropped base or it will hit my hood.

So...... what are my options for air cleaners (want to keep the 14" open element type)? What have you used that fits? I think if I dent my current one that the filter will not sit flush against the bottom.
