I am looking for some input on what changing from my current E-tec 170cc heads to GM Aluminum fast burn heads 210cc intake runner may gain on a street 383 currently is a ZZ4 Cam but may go up to a GM hot cam too if that helps?
my goals are:
good driveability
more performance - (I like it being a sleeper)
I went conservative at start - it had to pass Dyno sniffer but now car is old enough its safety only now -car is 87 Trans am Q-jet 383 700r4 3.42 gears 1 3/4" SLP headers dual cats and 3" out the back
I feel the 383 has more to offer and engine is apart now - all parts I'm thinking about listed above I already own so its a matter of just installing it.
Original setup ran good pulled hard sounded like the stock 305
thoughts and opinions welcomed!
