Has anyone run a 315/35/17(Nitto 555) with the dse minitub kit? That size tire is about all i can find in the 315 size. Would it look stupid to only have a 25 1/2 inch tall tire, i currently run 225/60/15's and they would be the same height, just a lot wider, and it would still have 4.3 inches of sidewall. or should i go with like a 27 1/2 inch tall tire that is a 295/50/16(BFG T/A) instead but it will kill my gearing? Just looking at options for the future and trying to come up with a wheel and tire package, i'm thinking either 16" rally's or 17" coy c5's.

I have those on my 71 with DSE tubs. Looks ok but if a 27" tire was available I would run it. Its a little short for my taste but no other options without going narrower.

that looks awesome! i can't wait to get that under my car when i can afford it. were you told to use an 11 inch wheel instead of a 10 inch? i'm not sure how wide a 12 bold rear is in comparison to a 10 bolt so i have no idea how wide of a wheel to go with or what backspacing.

With the tubs an 11" wheel is ideal. 10" looks narrow. 12" wont fit. Backspacing is best measured everytime as cars can be different.
It will be around 7.5 to 8". Mine was 7 3/4.

After I burn these off Im trying a 335/35r17 Kuhmo XS which are about 1" wider than these on a 11" rim.
