Im changing my early 8.2" 10-bolt to a 8.5" 10-bolt. Will I be able to use the current driveshaft? My 69 has a turbo 350 tranny also.

NO! The 8.5 has a longer pinion gear, which in turn requires a shorter shaft. About 3/4 of an inch shorter. If you use your old shaft (if you can even get it in) BAD things will happen. (like damage to tranny, crank in the motor, rearend or thrust bearing)
