Just picked up a 72 Nova project car that has rusted Drip rails. Anyone know how these were installed from the factory...? I 'm not sure how to tackle these yet, so any opions or words of advice?
The drip rails on the A pillars are held on with 3 screws located in the door jam, they also have sealer behind them so can be difficult to remove once the screws are out. The remaining section of drip rail is a crimp of two sections of sheetmetal; the roof and the door / quarter glass jam. So, that section needs to either be repaired or cut off and a donor piece welded on....
