Ok,
Just asking
Are my engine mount risers mounted 'backwards' causing the engine to be mounted towards the rear by 1" or something??? I'm about to change the pan cause this one has seen too many jacks (dummy's who don't know what they are doing apparently!)

My mount stantions/risers are straight from the frame then joggle about 1/2" back towards the firewall, then joggle straight up again. Hope that helps visualize -
anyways, should the joggle be leaning back or leaning forward which would in effect move the engine forwards just that amount...

Anyway, is this common for these 1st gens or is this just a quick fix on my part and move on down the road?

Thanks for the help!

I know...I know...Pics

The long mount goes on the drivers side. Those are reproduction frame mounts not that that is an issue.
