I found some replacement doors for my coupe, but they dont have the elongated holes on the upper door edge for the trim. Has anyone had this issue and how did you recreate them? Thanks.

Do you have the old doors still ? Could just cut off the lip and place it over the old one and drill out the holes that way ?

Check inside the doors for evidence of the holes. They may just be mudded up and easy to pop back open. If they're welded, you can make a template from your old doors. The elongated holes were for the reveal trim clips and all 62-65 coupes/hardtops had them originally.

I'll have to check the inside of the panel to see if they're there, and I didn't even think about using the old doors as a template. Thanks for both of your responses.
