What is the easiest way to get the door panles off my 64 4-door? I tried before but the little metal strip at the top and bottom I couldent get off and I was wondering if there is a way to take it off or if I just bend it up?

the door panels are held by I guess for a lack of a better word, plastic retainers, 2 or 3 at each end. Pry between the panel and the door to pop them loose. then bow the panel till it clears one of the metal strips and you got it. The metal strips have 5 or 6 screws which you then can get at.
